It is Intra and Interspecific - the latter being among individuals of
different species, the former being among individuals of the same
species.
You can also have direct and indirect competition within Intra and Interspecific competition.
So for example.. Interspecific: Two species of fish which compete for
the same food resources in a pond; or two species of warbler that eat
the same type of caterpillars.
Intraspecific: Two oak trees growing next to each other competing for
light, water, nutrients, etc. Or a colony of diamondback rattlesnakes
living in the desert competing for food.
